Physician Event Review
After each use of the AED, one of our board certified emergency medicine physicians will complete a comprehensive event review. The event review has several purposes. First, it determines whether or not the AED functioned appropriately. Second, it can provide some assessment of your internal response systems which is often useful for quality improvement. Finally, it gives you the opportunity to have any specific questions or concerns addressed. A brief summary of the event is then provided for your records.
Caring for a victim of cardiac arrest will be an emotionally difficult experience for you and your employees. Our physicians can download and review the complete rescue. The feedback given from our physicians in an event review is one of the most valuable services STAT PADS provides.
