AED/CPR Training

STAT PADS recommends training through any nationally recognized training organization, such as the American Safety and Health Institute. This training includes everything your employees will need to be ready to provide basic life support and to use an AED to save a life. By completing training, your employees will be confident and comfortable with CPR and the use of your AED.

STAT PADS can help facilitate your training through the American Safety and Health Institute (ASHI). They are a nationally recognized organization providing outstanding safety training across the nation. ASHI is an onsite training organization, they will come to your site, supply all materials and provide you and your employees with a two year certification. ASHI offers many training classes, anything from AED/CPR training to Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) or First Responder training. For more information on ASHI training or to set up training for your facility contact STAT PADS.

CPR Training and Certification
Following the AHA guidelines, each employee should be trained in Basic Life Support. This includes recognizing the signs and symptoms of stroke, heart attack, choking, and cardiac arrest. Each employee should learn CPR and the proper techniques to treat a choking victim. This training should include realistic drills, practice scenarios, a practical exam, and a written exam. Upon successful completion, each employee will receive a certification card.

AED Training
AED use and training has been seamlessly integrated into CPR training. Current guidelines recommend early defibrillation as an essential link in the chain of survival. During the training, each employee will become comfortable with the step-by-step AED.
